Thanks for the fast responses.

Below are some pics of the balun I purchased. I am going to make a 10 meter dipole with it.

I cut both legs to 99 inches as I plan to run this on 28.300-28.500. One thing I am curious about is if the extra bare soldered wire will cause the wire to be really longer than what it is? Or will it be no big deal?

Also when i put the wires thru the hooks, i soldered the bare ends to the wire itself, in a manner of where they would not come off, but I tried not to let them touch the hooks as I wasn't sure if that would affect anything or not.

Judging by the pics would you say I'm good to go as far as the install? Or should i change anything?
