i decided i will try to make one of my vector 4000's into a 6mtr vertical since they are far too weak for use on 27mhz,

another incentive is my buddy said i wont be able to beat a shop bought 6mtr vertical with a homebrew antenna :shock: ,

i disagree, i think that if i can get all the dimensions correct especially the gamma and shorting strap and using ideas from the avanti patent it will destroy the shop bought 6mtr halfwave antennas i have seen over here,

a bit like making scale models, something small enough to easilly work with,

do you guys think this will be a difficult task :?:
 

Not for you! You know what it takes to get an antenna to work.

This is not a tongue-in-cheek statement, I'm serious! Sometimes its hard to tell in a forum post!
