I had a siltronix years back with the factory frequency display....someone offered me $200 for it( the display) back in the late 90's and needless to say I jumped on it....if I knew then what I know now concerning those displays I would have hung onto it
And I still love those old driftamatics,they are built like a tank,wish I had another one just to look at
I did come across a Siltronix FS-600A power meter about a year ago and still have it....and I am hanging onto it.... great meter !!

Have I ever got the radio for you! A 1011D Complete with the seldom-seen FD 1011-A frequency counter (the one that had the 1-40 channel indicators as well as the frequency). It was a true 'barn find' and needs some serious internal cleaning but it does power up!
Poor old Silkies. The Rodney Dangerfield of radios. Sure they had their quirks but that was part of the charm. Everyone seems to forget that at root they were a Swan.

i sent my radio.He never sent the one he had.He emailed me and said he didnt like my radio.So he said he mailed it back.I never got it,go figure.I have been trading and selling radios on qrz.com and here for yrs.Never had a problem.And he wounders why im mad about not getting my radio back.If it was me that didnt send it back,he would be mad...oh well.just deal locally...73 de JW By the way,6mtrs has been good...
