Sirio 1/2 Lambda

Hi there,

I have a Sirio 1/2 lambda antenna with a coil at the bottom between the fortifications.
The Anten is about 20 years old and has never been built.
Now I wanted to build and connect.
My SWR is very bad, almost in the red.
I have checked the Antennkabel, but that is okay.
Then I measured by the antenna and have found that the inner connection of the antenna socket is not in contact with the antenna radiator.
The external terminal of the antenna jack is in contact with the coil and the antenna radiator.
That can not be true or am I wrong.
Can anyone help me?

Find the antenna model you have on this page:
HF (3-30 MHz) Base Antenna

Download the manual and examine how it must be assembled.
Sirio manufactured different 1/2wl models, and you did not specify which model you have.
