Well im tired of noise from all 4 corners all at once and dug out a sy4 set i bought used several years ago. Time to put the ground plane away for a while.
After stripping it down for cleaning and what not i noticed the so239 gamma stud came apart quite nicely. My issue is the so239 insulator.. I don't trust it and would like to replace it with teflon. Anyone know where i can find new or maybe harvest an so239 teflon insulator without butchering it?
Any suggestions?20230215_211939.jpg20230215_212021.jpg20230215_212120~2.jpg

I don't know if Sirio sells spare parts, but it might be worth contacting a distributor.
Yeah i looked but it appears to be the same design.
So i found an N x so239 adapter and by pushing the center pin on the N side the entire inside slides right out. I have a little more modifying to do but i should have it done tonight.
