Skipshooter Antenna Nail Rust!

The original Skipshooters made in Hermiston, Oregon have a straight brass rod at the top with no head.

i run a skipshooter on the roof of my suv nail is a lil rusty .but i checked the tune and its fine ..so really i see no reason to worry if nail is rusty ..but they are cheap enough to replace

why not use galvinized nails they seem not to rust as bad,,,,
