Won't do me much good but it's good to see some are still hanging on to the older ways instead of running scared !
When I was young....
The Central Valley Cb club, the jacket patch had a bumble bee holding a microphone, c bee'rs....ok corney but it was a good group.
Weekend BBQ's, breaks, swap meets, group yard sales, fund drives.
It kept a few kids out of trouble by keeping them busy doing radio stuff.
It is good to see local groups get together.

Unfortunately I never had a chance to join one of those because I was too busy working making the poor mans dollar trying to dig out of the hole life had me in. This forum is as close as I will come to a social club. There is a Good Bunch right here and you don't have far to travel to get here when all your joints ache. LOL
