Just watch your drive level. The 2290 requires scandalously little drive to smack it hard.

My disposition is that I look for faults first. As a troubleshooter, this is the way. I don't like what I see regarding the brands you chose for the electrolytics. These look to me as Chinese tier 3 quality.
As a troubleshooter you are probably already aware that you cant judge by appearance but by performance.
