PstRotator and FCC database
PstRotator (Azimuth and Elevation control) and PstRotatorAz (Azimuth only control) programs can use now the FCC database, containig more than 1 milion US callsigns.
The FCC database contains callsigns, names and QRA locators.
The QRA locators are calculated starting from the zipcode.
This database is not distributed with the programs, but you can download it going to "Help/Download FCC database".
To use the FCC database, go to "Setup" and select "Use FCC database". (Of course, you can deselect this option at any time).
Enter a callsign in the "Prefix" text box, and you can see in the "QRA Locator" text box a locator. Press "GO to QRA" to point the antenna.
Place the mouse cursor over the "Prefix" text box and you can see the full name of the operator.
