YES! Very much so, I think they were way ahead of there time...at the time! I have A Sommerkamp PA-100 that i use daily. I had a SommerKamp 2000 DX that got nipped out of my car years ago. And I like the early Yaesu`s, and they were part of Yaesus early history.

I doubt you will find one here in the US, Most of these were sold overseas. Sometimes you can do a search for "SommerKamp" on Ebay and get a hit, but not often.
