This rig had the following work about 8 months ago. Three tubes replaced, PLL decimal problem (phrase loop lock) takien care, recapped 100% using metal jacket flame proof replacements and aligned.
The only modification to this sonar fs 2340 has been the audio Clipper board bypass. The sunit meter will need to be agjusted. It's easily performed on using the adjustment on the rear panel.
I probably could have done a better job at cleaning it. I am a bit rough with things and feared I might remove the screen print on the face.
As you can see in the pictures it's a bit Dusty inside. I did not dust the inside at all and the dust you see in the photos is minimal. Please believe me when I say I could have only uglied it by trying to clean it better.
The photos are fairly representative of what it looks like. The only meter I have is an MFJ and it's not a very good one.
It shows over 2 watts dk and 14 modulated.
Assume it's a bit less. Probably 11/2 dk and about 11 modulated (but MFJ residing could be correct).
I am 100% honest in my description of this radio. My description is as understated as it could be without going overboard. It gets great unsolicited audio reports often without the demco inline. The rig can be used with an amplified hi Z because of the limiter bypass.
If you want and amplified d104 That's wired for this rig instead of the unamplified one that's included just let me know and I'll send the amplified on instead of the unamplified at no extra charge. There's not much more I can say. If you have any questions just ask and if I can I'll answer them.
$400 shipped and insured. P.s. This rig is available locally and if someone buys it I'll post a radio already sold. Thanks

One more thing I left out. The Nuvista has been replaced with a PC board. Very common mod.

Didn't think it would happen so quickly but a local gave me $100 down. He has two weeks to come up with the rest. If not I'll post a note. For now sale pending. If you're interested pm me and if the deal falls through I'll notify the people who pm on a first notify first to get the chance to purchase. Thanks.
