So the SS 9900V4 when you are on ch 38, you switch to frequency mode, move away from 27.385 to say 27.405 then hit the channel button again, you have now changed ch 38 to 27.405.
It " remembers" the frequency you changed it to.
This causes trouble for operators who don't realize what is happening and suddenly all of the channels are out of sync.
Solution
menu item 12 ( in my radio this is set to ch/freq) change to CH , key the Mic to save and now it will no longer change the frequency for the channels.
This works for the Super Star 9900V4, can some one try the AT 6666 and see if it is the same?
