what is the maximum transmitting power allowed on SSB? is it 4w just like CB or what, because im considering an ssb and just wanted to know if the "MAN" had any lockdowns on it too. ive been searching the fcc site and its really hard to find stuff. and i was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head.

For 11 meter's (cb) band it's 12 watts for ssb

One that's type-accepted for use in the CB services does, assuming no one has 'peaked' it.

As far as exports are concerned...all bets are off.
