i purchased a ranger rci 2950 dx in the states 2 years ago now iam using the radio in my big truck it works great i have no complaints only it lacks power i also have a zetagi pre3 amp which i useit gives me 400 watts on ssb and 200 on am fm iam considering purchasing a bigger amp iam sure the 2950 puts out 20 /25 watts on ssb but i can adjust with variable power i was considering an upgrade to a 2970 but might be beter of going with a bigger mobile amp any advice or opinions on suitable amps to run with this radio would be appreciated taking into account it has to be similar size to my zetagi as it has to fit into my big truck current size of amp is 17 inches / 17 inches depth 7 inches iam basically looking for something with more power for talking on am but more often ssb wj 450 catch me on 27.475 73 s happy holidays
