I think it will affect things like movies, music, eBooks, and the like. Haven't read the finer points. The petition to stop SOPA and PIPA online that was circulated by Google and Wikipedia was a successful and unanimous citizen response against this gov't proposed action. The real issue in the original post - IMO - is the question is if they are sharing these files - or selling them. Making money on someone's copyright is really pivotal here - IMO. While the Supreme Court voted in favor of copyright issues here, there is still more to it here than has met the eye.

As far as CB Tricks goes, that is their own copyright and they can share it if they like.
