Actually it has PEP and AVERAGE since there is no such thing as RMS power but I get what you mean. I have a cross needle Daiwa as well. two of them actually. Have you checked the menu settings and made sure it is set to 100 watts? Also make sure the ALC has not been adjusted too high as it will cut power back.
