Here's the next one he has up on ebay for the same $19.95 starting price (8/24). If any of you are looking for a new desk mic...give this one a hard look.

The idea is apparently to copy the Turner line style of mics and they did a great job. Made in the Philippines, is heavy with very professional good looks. Excellent audio reports from everyone. Locking PTT bar, volume control and roger beep switch is on top for instant access. Seller is a ham and I believe he mentioned he would wire one up any way you needed it. Mine came ready 4 pin Cobra/Uniden/Galaxy. The roger beep sounds very close to standard Galaxy beep in tone and duration. I'm very happy with this one.
 
Hey thanks, WW- I asked because I bought an Astatic DM-878 a few months back that had RF feedback issues and I think the plastic housing was the culprit (too bad, because it was a good sounding mic).

I haven't been able to find a spreadsheet-- is it dynamic, electret condenser, ceramic... Impedance?

Sorry for the 20 questions, I just haven't been able to find any info online.

I have the power/echo/roger beep version of the Syncron mic. I'm using it with a Galaxy DX 2547. All signal and audio reports have been encouraging, one report even saying audio was better than the Galaxy power/echo desk mic, which I used as a comparison.

They are copies of the Italian made Zetagi microphones.
