With all the great 10&11 meter propagation we've been having it's likely that they'll be good conditions on 10 meters for Field Day, coming up the end of June. 6 and 10 meters usually get ignored or little used but that is because we're coming away from poor sunspot cycle years and now heading into a peak.

Even if you're not going out into the field with a local club, you can still operate from home and provide contacts for "regular" Field Day Stations even if, or particularly if all you have right now is a 10 meter or export mobile as your HF hamshack.

Single stations working from home on commercial power designator is 1D or "1 Delta" as it's said over the air. Emergency power like using a generator or a battery is 1E or "1 Echo"....followed by your State.

Field Day is kind of losing popularity somewhat in my local area and the clubs are kind of far away so I'll probably be working 10 meters from home.

I havent found anyone on 6 to contact as of yet so I dont spend much time there. But 10 I do find a few to chat with and do try to contact them when the band is open.

I am just waiting for the sunspots to crank up a bit more and 10 will be wide open.I am spending most of my time on 20 and 17 meters for the long haul DX and 80 for the stateside stuff for now
