I recently bought a Ten-Tec Triton I (510) at a local hamfest a couple of months ago . It didn't have the right power supply with it when I bought it , instead it had the Ten Tec Model 262m with it . Which I was told wouldn't work right without the proper adjustments, and so on, and so on . So while I was trying to get all of that figured out, I noticed that there's not a lot of information out there about the Triton one. There's plenty about the Triton IV , but not for the first one . So I was just wondering , is the Triton one a harder radio to find , and if so ... does anyone know why ?

Incidentally , I did manage to track down , and buy the actual power supply that goes to the radio .

The Titan I was pretty much a hot rod QRP Argonuat, with couple years updates, plus a 100w INPUT PA Board. (abt 40w out)
The Titan II /100 watts version introduced same year along with T4 couple years later (total redesign)...T1 was not that much of interest...Ten-Tec had fallen behind at that stage in Amateur Radio IMHO. They came back with the OMNI/Corsair/Argosy versions which were leaps from where they had been before. This was due Ten-Tec trying to invest in Military (Aircraft radios) being designed and sold to US for a time. The T1 was a transition rig IMHO that never really took hold...Up till then Ten-tec was KING of the QRP Market...I had a Argonaut ...nice rig for what it was...Those "Pride" 3-30 MHz amplifiers built by disabled Hams back then were perfect for them. 5 in -150w out....made great camping radio with trolling motor battery for PS at night while charging. :coffee:
