I have been talking with Jan (153LW101), which he is north of Bangkok, off and on for the past month now and he sent me a couple pictures of his antenna.

The whole mast is made of PVC and the spreaders are bamboo. Works very good with his 100 watts.

Tonight we were able to make the contact both ways with a S7-8.

What freq.?
Freq - 27.480 usb

Paul - he used the bamboo and PVC because it's to hard to get any metal material there with out paying a ton of money.

I must say tho, his antenna must work pretty good, for I hear him quite a bite. When we talk it's around 7:30am to 8:30am his time (gray line).

Nice contact wished I could make Thailand's from the East coast, heck almost impossible to do it on 20 meters much less 11 meters.

Hey Larry, haven't talk to you in a coons age, glad to see you're doing well and upright! :D
I'm still upright, but some days are at a 45 degree. :)
