anyone that thinks that "the mod" is a long and complicated process should not be working on other peoples radios.

compare it to installing an echo board, and a blue channel display. (something EVERY CB shop does all day long)

mod install ------------------------ echo/blue display install

mount a PC board --------------------- mount a PC board

wire it to the radio ---------------------- wire it to the radio

unsolder and change out----------- unsolder and change out
channel display ------------------------channel display

tune for best performance-------------tune for best performance

the only real difference i see is with the echo board install you also have to mount a knob.

does any of this seem too complicated for a competent tech to accomplish?
