Think I should buy 2?...LOL

"... it can be also used out of ham bands, like for MARS, CB, whatever. For hams it will give out 500 W even on 30 and 60 meters..."

If I had ebay acct, I would report it.

Why? It is perfectly legal dispite the CB claim. Myself I would report it simply for being a piece of crap.

Well if it is 2 sets of 2 2SC2879's than 400 watts rms is not that hard to do. It all depends on how it is tuned and matched and it is not unheard of in a good design to get more than 100watts out of a 2SC2879. You are not really seeing the amp just the frame he built to hold all the associated parts. The original Skywalker kits were sold through Amateur outlets and CQ magazine and the like.It was designed by a well-known amateur, not a "builder". AS usual most amateur's do not know their own history what an ignorant lot you guys tend to be today! Almost as bad as most adults not knowing their constitution or Bill of RIghts! Long story short the guy was about 30 years too soon and if he was to do today what he did back then he would not have gotten in any trouble at all. Most of his problems were caused by fellow amateurs not so much the FCC wanting to go after him. So until you can actually see the amp itself and not the external trapping you have no clue about any of it's built. I could take the guts out of a smart cube and stick them in an ugly poorly built box and you would say the same thing without having a clue about what is at the heart of the box. Likewise, I could take a JRC amp and again stick it in an ugly poorly constructed box and you would talk trash about it. JRC has made some of the finest amateurs amps ever built for consumer grade product they were just again 20-30 years ahead of their game using fet's but rf specific fet's.

You could just reach out to the man in a pm telling him he is breaking ebay policy including CB reference in a linear amplifier sale and give him the chance to make the add compliant. That would show human dignity and a desire to educate a man instead of just being a rule bully. Why be passive aggressive and hate filled if you do not need to be that way?

You could try googling Skywalker amp kit it might prove interesting not to be confused with some crazy "builder" stuf that might have borrowed that name as well using cheap voltage switching fet's.

It is still a crappy looking POS and it shows a complete lack of good engineering practices in it's overall construction regardless of the design of the amplifier board itself.

What's wrong with a little RF burn? at 6 meter frequencies you don't even have to touch it to get fried.
As far as I know no body has been trashing the original design, but the poor a$$ construction.
Ease up before you get acid reflux.
