I have seen the wire clamps before but I didn't know what the tool was. I wonder if any place sells them? Running a 3d printer with soda bottle filament is an awesome idea too.

I've seen a video where they were using wire clamps on different hose lines on a car. I remember another where dude made emergency radiator hose repair with a fabricated tool. I imagine the aviation industry uses those wire clamps. I have a few things I could clamp that way.
