I saw this pic in one of the ebay flash banners and said, "Hey! That's my pic!" LOL. So I clicked on the ad and sure enough...he's using the pic I took to review the radio in his ad for the Yaesu FT-897D! :p That's even the Marconi Signal Generator I used to have in the background!

Check it out:

Yaesu FT-897D All Mode All Band Reciever - eBay (item 190414596165 end time Jul-11-10 03:59:39 PDT)

I asked him for a link to the review article since he's using my pic. We'll see what he says...

Here's the original review article for comparison:

click the report button and then something about copying my listing then choose stolen picture

My sources are telling me that moleculo is actually Scott from Sandusky.

Nothing to see here.

I like the part where a bidder says "My call sign is PS8RSA and my QRA (name) is Rosendo.

The seller replies with "I already have bids on here so i can not sell it buy it now but if you are the winning bidder i will charge only the actual charges for shipping, and i will ship to rosendo."

I wonder if he ever found "Rosendo" on a map and what the shipping charges would be.

Something tells me "Scott" is not a ham operator.

I wrote him and he got back to me about the pic-

no it is not the actual unit my camera is not
working so i got one off google my rig is clean and
looks like new with the tuner mounted on the side
just like the one in the picture

He just sent me the exact same answer. Cant help but notice, he wont post the question or the answer on the auction. Something wrong with that!

More than the cost of a new one in the box.

Got to love eBay.

I know I do when I list a $50.00 radio and the idiots show up and bid it up over $200.00.

Fer future reference paybay has a provision not allowing others to steal your pics like that. You can REPORT the auction and state that it's your pic.....IF they swiped the pic off of ebay in the first place. If they got it somewhere else on the web....you may have some additional proving to do.
