About a week ago an item is listed on paybay. It is one of them thar illegal items so "they" say. There are hundreds and hundreds of such on there. Many survive. Some get yanked. Whatever.
So I did place the starting bid on this item, and it was probably the 1st day of the auction. So I think the next day it gets yanked. I get an automated email from paybay stating that the item had been removed and the item DID disappear from my Watched list as is normal. So I shrug my shoulders and forget about it.
So today, which would apparently be the 7th and ending day of the auction, I check my WON items list and here this thing is with me being the winner and the only bidder and at the starting price. And the seller has sent me an invoice. I have sent the seller a note asking him if he knows what happened.
It is a nice item and I suppose I'll go ahead and pay for it. Very good deal at the starting price.
So I'm wondering what the hell happened here. Anybody want to muck up a guess? This happen to any of you?
