This is why using punctuation is nice.

I am looking at doing a little plumbing work since I need to change out my well pump. It has bad bearings and I have another pump so it will be a simple (yeah right) matter of swapping it out however I plan to make a few changes to the plumbing lines and maybe change out the pressure tank.I was looking at a review and found the following which I have posted below. For the love of God please use some punctuation marks and separate sentences. It took me three times to figure out exactly what this troglodyte was trying to say.

"we wanted a larger tank but old tanks never give you a warning so it was a weekend they had one that was the same as we had so much for going larger plastic inlet cross threaded but I was able to get it to seal second time around like the changeable bladder hope I don`t have to change it two soon to soon to say if it will hold up only had it couple months"

It would be nice if people on the Internet would use proper grammar and punctuation; however, we know that is not going to happen.

Proper is almost too much to ask for in this day and age where kids are not taught it in school however a little attempt at separating sentences would be nice. I graduated high school in 1981 and back then we actually were taught and tested on the proper use of grammar and spelling. Today the attitude is "why bother? Everyone has a spellchecker in their PC/smart phone anyway and they will eventually learn the right way on their own". That idea still has not proved itself out yet after all these years. I am not perfect but at least I make a concerted effort to use proper grammar and spelling. My biggest downfall is my typing skills especially when on my smartphone. I miss a lot of capital letters. There are times when reading some posts you would think I was a product of today's generation.

Now GED diplomas can be "earned" using online courses. That is a farce in my old school opinion.

I agree. I graduated with more than the required course credits and all were academic level. Below that were all the general courses and below that are all the GED certificates. Not being a snob mind you. I do not think I am better than anyone else but the level of education is quite different. I still thank my lucky stars for the invention of the spell checker as I am a bad typist especially when on my smartphone. You can almost tell which posts were made from work when I am on it. Just look for the typos. The screen is so small it isn't worth the headaches to go back and edit.

That's why I use a pair of reading glasses with mild magnification from the local drug store. The spell check usually goofs me up.

I have bifocals and the damn spell checker screws me up too but for a different reason. It defaults to American spelling. I am not American. I spell words with the letter "U" in places you guys don't like vapour, colour, and words that end in re instead of "er" like theatre. I have to keep clicking "Add to dictionary" so it will understand that I am actually spelling it correctly and not what it thinks is correct.
