Just kidding, Actually those are nice radios. You got it for a good price and 30 watts PEP is good also unless you change some of the internals(I would leave it alone). If they are set up right they have nice clean, Loud modulation. I was very surprised how good they sound, A local had one here in town that was a pleasure to listen to. There really wasn't anything I did not like about the radio. Accessing the menu options was a little complicated until you get used to it. Enjoy it!

I have had two of them, the 02 model that I run now just keeps doing it's thing. I have bought several other radio's in the past year trying to out do the delta and no luck. I would say 30-35 watts is about right, don't believe all the big numbers you see people throw around on forums. 90% of that is just is nothing but wishful thinking. I have bought radio's that were tuned by this person and that and supposed to be showing strong numbers....never saw all the watts. Besides, alot of how well a radio gets out is in the AUDIO, not the number on a meter.

The Deltas are ok radios. RX stinks on them but that just a property of the older magnum radios. They have too much noise in the reciever. Good price on it. Ive never been a fan of the microprocessor controlled radios as they arent as user friendly in a mobile situation

Picked up one today for $125.00 looks like new.The receive is strong and its doing about 30 watts pep.Seems a little low to me.What do you all think about these radios?Good and the bad please.

I bought one new, and did the NPC mod found on the CBtricks site. Radio really sounded great, best echo on the market IMO. SSB was pretty good as well, I liked the ability to adjust in 1 kHz jumps.
