Update* so far I am impressed with the radio itself. Battery not so much I think I was sold a defective one as one of the TD3 batteries starts dying the instant it's off the charger. Goes to 2 of 3 bars and I've not even keyed up. This is no good.
I may have to send back the two pack to Amazon for a bad battery on one unit.
I am going to try to cycle it but so far not impressed with battery life. Testing on standby and after 2 hours both the Tids are at 2 bars and baofeng is at full power still. I suppose the size compromise makes the battery life fairly poor? I am a bit alarmed it drops one bar on 2 hours of standby time.....at this rate of discharge the manufacturer claim of "....H3 radio is increased to 2500mAh, which is a 40% increase in capacity, and the standby time is more than 2 days..." looks like it will be wildly inaccurate.

*update* despite early discrepancies both Tids are holding strong @2 of 3 bars this morning it appears they will indeed come at least near to manufacturer claims.
