The original article is two years old. Wonder what happened to the little guy since? Betting someone with big goverment connections and investments in Duracell got it squashed and the scientists dissapeared.

Imagine a team designing an engine that could run a mid-sized car for a year on one gallon of unleaded. Not likely anyone would survive to tell the story.
