I was logging into PayPal and they had this company's table top radio model; Model One® on the home page. Pretty cool looking AM/FM radio.
You can choose different styles of colour.

My non radio playing friend bought one of these a few years ago for his mom. She keeps it in the kitchen. She likes it, it has a great sound with good sensitivity.

They used to have them on the radio display table a Universal Radio. Not a bad radio at all. They still sell them. I have an old school GE super radio in my kitchen. I use it to listen to 700 WLS.

Right on, I'm sick of having a huge shortwave rig on the table just to RX some PM or early AM medium wave listening.
I shop at Target and so I heard there on display I might have to mosy on over and check one out first hand.
