This is just in case anyone reviews this thread for info, I realize it is years old

The programmer for the 70-336B is a Midland 70-1000, there is also a skyline model 70-1000x on the web, the eprom is a Z383 those radios are 8 channel radios

you can also modify them with a chip socket then program them with a regular eprom programmer

I would join the Midland yahoo group and look in the files section of the group as well as ask members for info on these old radios

they are good commercial rigs which work well for 2 meters
