i think Mack meant cb filters were generally inferior to hf set filters (albeit more so in the case of the narrow optional filters for hf sets), not just generally inferior.

do you not mean 3Khz wide? a 3Mhz wide filter would let Pavarotti slip through.

Mack do you not mean 2-8 Khz wide? The invisible man would struggle to get through a 2-8 hz wide filter.
