"C3" is a fixed 470pfd capacitor; not a coil.

This is the parts list for your radio.  You will need to examine the board carefully and look for a number printed on that board next to the part that has failed.  Should be a letter and number.  Coils on a board usually begin with the capital letter "L".  So, it should look something like "Lxxx". The "x" will be a either one, two, or even three different numbers next to the "L".  Once you have located and verified its identity, look up in the parts list.  The number might be "L1" or even "L203"; that is for you to find out.  It is very important that you identify this coil correctly.  Once you find it on the parts list, you can contact Cobra and buy the part from them.  Or - someone on this forum might have a junker radio and sell/send you the part.  Either way, you won't use a metal screwdriver to adjust this coil any more - right?!?

lol!
