Desolder the can and remove the core. Examine it. If only a small portion around the slot is missing, turn it over and install it in the coil with the good slot toward the top. Resolder the coil into the board, retune it, and you'll be good to go. If a small piece of the core is missing, it will have no adverse effect. 73s
