Teaberry Model-T base station, tube.
Both radios tested RX, RX awesome on the teaberry but small fuzz on the Sonar, other than that both picked up all sorts of local and DX, the teaberry sounded better than my Galaxy.
I have no high impedance mic to test TX on. The teaberry had a cap blow out on the board but was still working when I noticed the smell.
The Sonar likely needs a new relay, it does key when manually press relay.
The Sonar is just plain sexy, even the name implies it is or was awesome.
Unfortunately I just really dont care for talking on AM so all they do is decorate my shack, which is actually my closet, which nobody ever goes in to admire these sexy machines. My wife dont like the idea of these things in the living room, even though she in past allowed other radios. I dont think she likes the competition no more than having a posters of porn starts in the bathroom.
So I will sell or trade, prefer trade to selling.
