Hello everyone!

I know some of the HT radios i have a kendwood thf6a and tx on that frecuency perfectly, i work on a rescue group and have my autorizacion to transmit on that tx.

I have already donde the mars cap mod to open from tx 140 but i need the other one for safety reason

There must be another resistor i can take out to make it posible, the software mod that goes with the CD W ID after last step when turning on H/M + MENU + power on does nothing

Please i would apreciate all youre help

Diego all the way from Venezuela

The hardware resistor mod for that radio on the U.S. versions only allowed TX down to 140Mhz. The software mod that has a different frequency range doesn't work on all radios. It might not be possible to TX on the frequency you need with this radio.

Only thing to consider is that this radio does not deliver full output power across the entire frequency range it can TX on after modification. As you reach the edges, the power output drops to almost nothing.
