My Problem with this.
is Still some will look at her as a Rambo Type.

as well as the presence of mind to use it as she did.

I'd like to mail her some better ammo. At least he'll remember his dastardly deed each time he looks into the mirror.
Makes you wonder how fast a hard core anti gun fanatic would disavow his/her hatred for guns, and wished they'd had a "big terrible gun" in their hands, if faced in a similar situation like this mother.

I'm thinking that there is an international treaty that our president is or was expected to sign that would take away your right to own and bare Arms. I heard that last year. The current administration views our constitution as something that can be reinterpreted and changed/discarded to fit their ideals. As a youth,my dad taught me how to handle guns. I don't even like it when a child points a play gun at me. They get quickly taught. I do own guns for target practicing and hunting. As a Christian ,I am expected to hear what The Lord says to me and act accordingly,thus sidestepping any potential harm that comes my way and even speaking to the circumstances and changing them in my favor. He is my shield.

I have bad hearing, but if I'm faced with a situation where a bad guy is about to harm my family or myself... I'll quickly interpret Gods whispering in my ear as; "quick, put a cap in his ass".
Our Govt. wont take our arms away. But the will enact new laws like N.J. is trying. 5 shot limit on magazines etc. They will try to limit ammo, types of ammo. amount of hand guns. etc. The hard working legal gun owner allways pays the price.
5 years ago some drunk b@$tard was at the back door at 3am and the wife jumped out of bed before me and I said don't open the door. Well she let her curiosity get the best of her. With everybody in bed and home I knew it wasn't family. I grabbed the gun as he was making his way into my house. Got a death wish. luckily he sobered up enough to rethink and backed out. I called the police who picked him up a few houses down. Lock your doors keep your guns locked up but accessible for when you need them. Know your states laws is very important before defending yourself with a gun..

I used to own a house that had a mother in law apartment over the garage. The front door was next to our bedroom window. I was working a 24 hour shift when my wife heard a noise and saw a drunk punk trying to kick the door in.
My wife was 24 at the time, grabbed my Winchester 12 gauge Defender, ran out the back door and ordered him to the ground. She screamed for my neighbor who came over and took the gun while she called cops.
I'm glad she's a hillbilly girl. Her dad taught her and her brothers early on how to handle guns. Now that's she older, I'm positive she would just shoot first now.
