Crime did not fall in England after handguns were banned in January 1997. Quite the contrary, crime rose sharply. Yet, serious violent crime rates from 1997 to 2002 averaged 29 percent higher than 1996; robbery was 24 percent higher; murders 27 percent higher. Before the law, armed robberies had fallen by 50 percent from 1993 to 1997, but as soon as handguns were banned, the robbery rate shot back up, almost back to their 1993 levels.

— Australia has also seen its violent crime rates soar after its Port Arthur gun control measures in late 1996. Violent crime rates averaged 32 per cent higher in the six years after the law was passed (from 1997 to 2002) than they did the year before the law in 1996. The same comparisons for armed robbery rates showed increases of 45 percent.

check out the statistics on strong amred roberies since the gun ban I bet you it climbed dramatically, people still losing lots of money but less life lost but more bruises incurred . Guns have their place and I would keep one too even if they banned them here in the U.S.A.

Freecell, Congressman Ron Paul is excellent. He is one of the very very few people in our government at the higher levels that have earned my respect. He is one of the very few that is turely fighting for our freedoms and liberties, the Constitution and our sovereignty.

Bush just appointed a Bolshevik as the new head of Homeland Unsecurity, Mike Chertoff. This guy is anything but a supporter of freedom and liberty and is very well versed in torture policies, and Chertoff has appointed two very fine fellow Bolsheviks to help him run the Dept - an ex official with the Russian KGB and the ex head of the East German Stazzi. I'll search my papers for their names.

Bush has also just appointed Mr. Gonzales as the new head of all US law enforcement (Attrourney General). This wonderful fellow is a member of La Raza and Metza, two Mexican supremacist communist organizations. Mr. Gonzales is avidly anti private ownership of firearms and is also very well versed in torture policies.

The future will be hell for all real freedom lovers...
