When I took my Tech test I thought I would never get it as well.
For me, code quick was what helped me get it inside my my head.
I had a 45 min drive to work, so I would slap a tape in the player and just listen.
Passed my Tech in July and in Nov passed 1A and upgraded to Tech w/HF
Yes there are programs to decode and send CW with your computer.
MFJ even has a stand alone unit the will decode and send CW with your radio.
