There are also programs out there that simply require a connection from the radio to the computer sound card and another from a com port out to the radio's PTT line. Google is your friend.They will decode CW and often other modes and display it on the screen in addition to allowing you to type and have it sent via the radio. They work but need tweaking to decode signals and will not work that well if the signal is weak or noisy. The very best CW decoder bar none is located right between your ears.
