I found this 65AMP converter/charger for RVs at a flea market brand new in the box for $20.00.

I looked online for the value of this item. Amazon had three new sources that represented the retail range for it:

I am going to see how it does as a Power Supply. I do use a battery to run a mobile amp, so filtering through a battery if necessary is already in place.

It is a three stage Switching unit that responds to the load need sensed, it can be a fast charge unit, or a trickle maintainer as needed. It will respond to loads for supplying 13.8 volts DC as well.

Anyone know much about these?

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
