there is another thread where there is a horizontal full wave loop that looks inexpensive to build and he says it works quite well, i may build one similar and run it horizontal right below my A99, run both coax to a antenna switch then i can switch from horizontal (loop) to vertical (A99)

from what i hear horizontal antennas are quieter than vertical antennas
