Surly there's been more preparations recently, besides myself.

So I decided to use the Lincoln ll plus instead of the Mckinley on this new project with the dipole. There’s more options and I wasn't sure about my Jackery power supply capabilities when running a radio of this size. So yesterday I connected the radio using the supply and turned it on. I let it run for 14 hours and the power was down to 55 %. Today, after a full charge, I've been talking on said radio and have made lots of contacts. Running full power on the radio I made around 14 solid contacts and after 4 hours the supply is at 43 percent. Not too shabby!

In full sunlight it takes the solar panel 5 hours to charge the Jackery when it's at 20%

Project number 2 - It's time again to open the safe and clean the hunting rifles, shotgun and pistols, etc.. And that's what I'm about to do...
