I've been on the forum now for a number of years now and as many of you already know, weather play hell on radio equipment here. The winds primarily as I just recently lost another antes to the wind. Severe weather such as tornadoes squal line storms with lots of wind shear or down drafts are other players here during late spring and early summer months that antennas don't fair well against. We get our fair share of weather phenomenon. This short article puts Amarillo Tx as the big player for hail as I already know but I didn't realize we take the lead in the Lonestar.
It's kind of hobby related. I had an antenna beat to death from baseball size hail several years ago.
