is it muffled on low dk or high dk?
if both try lowering both
high dk first to 30 watts'
then lowdk to 5 watts
this may/maynot work wont hurt anything though
as for modulation DONT do any swing mods just crank the modulation vr
all way up that should give ya more than enough audio
