I only had two base antennas so far, a Maco 5/8 GP and A99 and like the Maco 5/8 much better.

I have a PDL-2 going up in spring so I will see how I like it.

Marconi is in Texas and he has an Interceptor 10K for sale. You would be VERY happy with this antenna!

As far as a beam goes, you could do MUCH better than the Smokin' Gun II.

I will say this though, you sure are persistant!

I should also add that a 4-element Maco will beat a 4-element SteppIr all day long. I know, its hard to swallow, but facts are facts.
