ok,

i just had to know more, so i did some reading.

what these guys are doing is modifying old CB radios to make a device called a "rife/bare device."

back in the 1920's there was a doctor named Royal Rife who invented a machine that used radio waves to energize a tube which would emit frequencies that were resonant with different diseases.

namely cancer.

he became quite famous for this device, and apparently healed 16 people of cancer during a demonstration of it.

(article said they went into remission shortly after using the machine.

well, for some reason he was considered kind of a quack by the medical society, and his device faded into obscurity.

presently there is a large group of people trying to recreate this device, but no one has done it yet.

they are very close they think.

the device sends out waves which are resonant with certain cells in the body, and kills them off.

they say the waves can also be used to boost the immune system.

pretty cutting edge stuff really.  the company that sells the product these guys are homebrewing is called Resonant Light Technologies, and they are based in canada.

while doing a bit of searching on them, i found out that they have a facility right here in the city i live in.

i imagine they do experimental cancer treatments there using this machine.

here's a interesting link if anyone wants to know more:

no, i am not affiliated in any way with this company.

i just realized it might sound that way.

i just thought it was cool to think about what radio waves can actually do.

anyone heard the recent theory that cell phone waves are killing off all the bees?
