I took a multimemter and in the 20k ohm position, checked for ohms from the black coming off the mic element that ties to the shield wire, and the red that comes off the element and is soldered onto the switch. My meter didn't even register. I will presume i should have gotten something?





FWIW when you key up, the modulation light does light up a little bit but not much - it's supposed to get brighter as your voice goes but it doesn't. My radio was built I believe either 1975 or 1976.
