I live in an area where all three environments can be encountered within a fifteen minute trip. We've got sea-level, below sea-level, sandy beaches and forbidding cliffs, farms and high rise buildings all within the fifteen minute's drive. We don't have mountains but we have some pretty high hills and valleys. that make for some poor radio performance on some frequencies.

Luckily, the various repeaters in the area cover almost all of it.

I had a Suburban once....sold it. Most of my mobile operations are now in the Tow Truck environment with some operstions in a pick up truck environment on my days off.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> Around here we aint got no fancy names, you are either city folk or country folk. If you don't need binoculars to see your neighbors house then you must be in the city. There aint no in between.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">
