Have you seen and researched the Colossal 10K base antenna?

What's your weather like?
Where is it mounting?
Terrain around you?
This will cover size and construction of your choice.
If you are considering spending 3 or 4 hundred on a vertical for ten meters you might want to put that into a Yagi with 3 elements if you got the room.

almost flat windy at times. thinking the sirio 2008 unless i think about other sirio models

Is it all DX? I have a vertical A99 and horizontal EFHW. The horizontal EFHS does better for local, in state contacts. The vertical signal needs some distance before it starts to skip and it works good for DX. Forget product favorites, and start with what one wants to accomplish.

I have the Sirio 827. It is an amazing antenna. If you go with Sirio, be sure to get the noise ring for the ground plane. The wind will make it howl otherwise. I have a chunk of rubber tire on my GP.

i ordered a sirio 2008 in a package deal 100 ft coax n 2 pole antenna switch for under $200. shipping included.
[m going to set my a 99 up for 11 meters only and the 2008 for 10 meters and use the coax switch.
i dont like compromize antenna settings and tuners. much rather tune to the frequincy needed by that antenna and dedicate the other to the other band n work them maxed swr match to bands
